We booked a car from Isis Rentadora and drove 2 hours to Chiquila, road has 1 toll. Parked in chiquila (cost 100 pesos a day to leave car parked) and took a ferry that was 150 pesos each to Holbox. Upon arrival, you leave the ferry terminal and go stand in a hut to await a taxi. its 40 pesos to drive to Marcos place. Wow...what an amazing space! Every detail is perfect and well thought out. We loved having our morning coffees and evening drinks on the rooftop. It is also in the perfect location to explore Holbox. Marco is an excellent host, and we will be coming back for sure.

A beautiful place, with some lovely touches and a private roof terrace. Is a short walk to the beach, which is gorgeous with turquoise sea etc. Stunning accommodation and setting - with fabulous French bakery around corner. Marco was a very responsive and helpful host.

Marco’s place is amazing! Very close to the beach and the town and the decor and design are perfect. He has it stocked with anything you could possibly need to make your stay in Holbox memorable. The best thing about Marcos apartment is the apartment! Compact but perfectly formed, it’s a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. It’s full of thoughtful touches and Marco is extremely helpful and generous with his recommendations. Very close to town, either walking or biking, but far enough to remain a peaceful enclave. The beach is a very short walk, beautiful, but can be hard to find shade. Highly recommended, the perfect way to relax in Holbox.

We stayed at Casa Impala for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The house is immaculate and lovingly furnished, and also private while being only a couple minutes walk away from what ended up being our favorite beach on the island. Marco was an absolute gem of a host; gave us the best suggestions and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and happy during our stay! If we could give more than 5 stars to Marco & his beautiful house, we would in a heartbeat.
