Discover Sosua's Underwater World
Enjoy the underwater world in Sosua, we will explore two different Snorkeling reefs. We provide with the snorkeling equipment and a snorkeling guide. We offer pick up from your hotel in Sosua and Cabarete. From Puerto Plata it is easy to use Uber if you don´t have your own transportation. Please remember to bring your towel, swim wear and sunscreen lotion. We start from Sosua Bay, where crystal clear warm water and a 1 km long sand beach welcomes you. You will get your mask, fins, inflatable snorkel vest and instructions before we get into the water, our first snorkeling spot is Three Rocks and Sosua Bay for our second reef. The duration will be approximately 2 hours. I recommend doing it early in the morning or at sunset. During the trip we will know typical Dominican places and their culture. On the beach we will walk through several places where I will go through different natural and funny shots. At the end we will enjoy a refreshing coconut water or craft beer. Difficulty level: -Medium; when you're fit/water level is low (dry/cold season) -High; when you're not fit/water level is high (wet/hot season) It is completely doable in all scenarios. You must not have any injuries, don't need to be an athlete either! (If you want a more challenging experience, book 'Hiking DR's most impressive waterfall') LGBTQ+ friendly experience/vegetarian acommodating. Pickup included in Santo Domingo. We depart at 6am (pick up might start up to 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights of the mountains to get to the town where we are having a typical dominican breakfast. After breakfast, we begin our journey. It's a 3 to 4-hour route within hiking, swimming, climbing, etc. Swimming is mandatory (no need to know how to swim, you'll have a life vest). Water is cold. We will meet at our local fishermen dock where we will start our adventure and then we will visit a local market, local shops, walk inside of the neighborhood, eat local and authentic breakfast, visit a typical house, eat (helado de fundita), visit the neighborhood’s sign and interact with the locals. We will also ride the Santo Domingo’s cable car, where you will see a good amount of colorful neighborhoods from above all the way from the national district to Northern Santo Domingo, hear their history, and also ride the Santo Domingo’s train. Fantastic Adventure to Hidden Waterfall and Historical Cave
Join us to visit this beautiful hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the entire Dominican Republic, Monte Plata. This is a 20-meter-high natural monument located in Bayaguana, where we will enjoy the clean air, the spectacular views, and the great flora that surrounds this wonderful waterfall. We will meet at the meeting point in the morning, to go to the waterfall 50 minutes from Santo Domingo, enjoying the landscapes that the road gives us, while we have breakfast on board. Along the way, we will talk about the history of the island, beautiful places in the DR and get to know each other better. When we arrive at the Cascada, Doña Ramona will wait for us, who will cook our traditional Dominican lunch (al carbon), as they used to cook in the 1900's on our island. Once ready, we will walk for around 15 minutes and we will go into the jungle to reach the beautiful hidden waterfall. It is a steep path but not difficult to cross, (I recommend comfortable shoes to avoid falling) We will explore the waterfall, take photos in it, enjoy the water and the beauty of nature for about two and a half hours and then return to the starting point to enjoy our lunch, chat, rest, and then start out trip back to Santo Domingo stoping by un the three eyes cave learning about history and this fantastic place an beautiful nature monument, after that we gonna head to out meeting point.

Discover with me the nature of the beautiful micro rainforest, the history of the aboriginal people that once used the caves, take a ride in the man pulled raft to discover the hidden 4th lake. Dominican Culture Around the Fogón
We will walk throught the "Sendero del Eden" where we will see trees and a beautifull cave named "La Cueva del Eden", here we will go into the Cave and observe the stalactites and stalagmites. Then we will visit our Fogón where we will grind cocoa, make casava like our ancestors and roast coffee. After that... We will take you to cave brujuela so you can swim under ground , a space with 15 meters below, with natural water, while you wait for the food to be prepared in the fogon. At the end we will have a surprise for everyone!!! To enjoy!!! Other things to note We will be outdoors, the caves are rocky so we must have safe closed shoes, sunscreen and repellent, we will use stairs, and we will have access to parking, bathroom and shower.

Ready to explore the Dominican desert and its sand dunes, salt ponds and coral reefs? We depart at 6:30am (Pickup might start up to 30 minutes before), take a 2-hour road trip to Salinas, with some stops on the way. Our first stop is for an authentic Dominican breakfast at a local place. After that, we visit the sand dunes and spend some time learning about them, taking pictures, and of course, sandboarding. I'm not a certified instructor, we're just having fun. No experience required. After having fun at the dunes, we walk through the salt mines and its pink lakes, where we see the salt process and workers taking salt out of the lakes. Our last attraction is playa El Derrumbao, where we are going to do some snorkeling. To get there, we take a 20 minute walk (one way) under the hot sun. We walk into the beach with urchins and grab the goggles to watch the coral reefs and fish underwater. It's beautiful! Then, we walk back and change clothes by the car. There's no dressing room, Then we go back to the same local place for some authentic Dominican lunch. After lunch, we return to Santo Domingo, happy and tired at around 5pm.
