The Hague walk with an architect
Binnenhof has been the center of political life in The Netherlands for 800 years and is the oldest parliamentary complex in Europe.  The Binnehof complex houses the General States (Parliament of the Netherlands), the Senate, the cabinet of Prime Minister, Ridderzaal, the Dutch State Council, the Ministry of General Affairs of The Netherlands, and the Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery. In 2021, the Binnenhof closed for renovation. During our walk around the Binnenhof complex, I will tell you about Binnenhof renovation, the modern political life of the Netherlands, the history of the adoption of the constitution, about important historical events and prominent political figures. I will show you the place of executions and torture, the famous prison, which is now a museum. I’ll tell you about the most terrible event that shocked the whole of Europe and is the darkest spot in the history of Holland. We continue our walk to the Mauritshuis Royal Picture Gallery building, where the famous painting by Jan Vermeer “Girl with a Pearl Earring” hangs. It is called the Dutch Mona Lisa. I will show you where the Queen of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, Anne Pavlovna, lived. I will tell you about the secrets of the royal family and show where Willem-Alexander works.
Photo tour through Delft heart
Delft is beautiful all year round and we will explore it together this time. I will meet you where the city used to begin, at the old gate to walk you in through the cozy streets towards the market square, where on Saturday and Thursday you can also have a chance to try the best local food. If you are still full of energy to explore I will slowly walk you further through the center towards the Old Church with a hidden garden - the best places to take beautiful shots. On the way, you will also find exhibitions or sometimes festivals with live music, art, and food. You will also see beautiful architecture, shops, and galleries with local crafts. By this time if we get a little tired, you will have a chance to visit the most unique cafe in Delft, which is often missed by visitors. There you will try the best dessert and coffee (or lunch), see a new showcase of an unusual art piece and get portraits in the unique interior (or terrace outside!). After this tour, you will get beautiful pictures and a useful bonus, I will mark on the map the best places to visit, to stay, to go for breakfast/lunch/dinner according to your personal preferences, for you to enjoy! Other things to note The best way to prepare is to have a good mood and a desire to explore! But of course, in order to look the best on the pictures, you will need (optionally) to prepare some looks of clothes that you like or contact me in advance to discuss it more detail.
Photo shoot on foot & water Rotterdam and/or Kinderdijk
*Please tell me if you like to do the Rotterdam photoshoot or the Kinderdijk (windmills) photoshoot or both!* I love to take you on a stunning photo walk through up and coming Rotterdam! I am glad you found me! I am from the outskirts of Rotterdam, I know the cool spots and the stunning backdrops. If you have any questions about the history of Rotterdam please ask! My grandparents fled the city from the bombings during WW2. My parents grew up in an empty city. Now the city is booming with a lot of creatives and start-ups. I will take you on a walk along the striking architecture of Rotterdam. We will start at the eye-catching Depot of Boijmans-van Beuningen Museum. Then through the park towards Veerhaven, a lovely small harbor with a very photogenic view across the water for the perfect Rotterdam skyline shot. From here we will hop on the water taxi (a unique and fun experience to see Rotterdam!) to Kop van Zuid, a district of modern and old monumental architecture. From Hotel New York (old) to De Rotterdam (new). Here we will end the tour. If you like to do the Kinderdijk photoshoot we will meet there. If you like to do both we will hop on the waterbus (40min) from Veerhaven. Solo + Rotterdam/Kinderdijk combo? Please book for two. If you don't see a time slot you prefer, please contact me, I might be available!
Scooter tour Delft
Few means of transport provide as much fun as the scooter, although they are not electric. So fun is guaranteed! Not least because, in addition to a short tour through the charming center of the city, we will also explore the area. So join the tour and you will be surprised, in a special and active way, by the city of orange & blue. On the way we drive through the Agneta Park. In this old factory colony, the couple Jacques and Agneta van Marken ran the yeast and spirit factory. This couple is way ahead of their time. For example, they have accident insurance for their employees, a staff newspaper and… in 1884 they founded a garden village next to the factory. Here I can tell endlessly about life in this park and about the Van Marken couple. But… I don't do that because we also want to take a look at one of the courtyards of the city. The Hofje van Pauw is a hidden gem. From the legacy of Elisabeth Pauw, eight houses were built here in 1707 for the less wealthy residents of Delft. Another showpiece in the Delft streetscape is without a doubt the Oostpoort. Once the gateway to the city, today a must-see icon.

Draw Rotterdam with a city sketcher
The first thing you need to know is: You don't need any drawing experience! I draw Rotterdam is suitable for every drawing level. I will help you. I will give advice and show easy and somewhat more difficult options. We walk approximately 2.5 kilometers in the center of Rotterdam. We pass several beautiful places to draw your own personal large "Greetings from Rotterdam postcard". Discover the city in a different way. Not just wandering around, but stopping to draw what you see. A relaxed experience in a lively city. We start with a Polaroid of yours and place it in the middle of a sheet of A4 size paper. Around the Polaroid we draw typical Rotterdam items such as: the Markthal, cube houses, Laurenskerk, bicycles and decorative elements from the city and nature. We draw in a simple and fast way. I give advice for "Handlettering" (writing in a nice way). Ultimately you have your own handmade "Greetings from Rotterdam postcard". You can take a photo and post it on social media, you can sent it to friends or family or bring it back home as a reminder of your afternoon drawing in Rotterdam. Other things to note If it rains, I have to cancel unfortunately. We can then plan a new date.

Therefore starting your stay in our town with this cycling tour gives you an advantage later on.

Art and Architecture walk
Art and Architecture Walk is a guided walking tour that introduces the open air art collection of Rotterdam along with the must see architecture highlights of the city. The guides are knowledgeable local architects and artists. Rotterdam is the architecture capital of the Netherlands and has also an amazing treasury of outdoor art, thoughtfully bonded to the urban fabric and its buildings. The tour follows architecture icons like Central Station, Theater square and the Lijnbaan post war area. We present The Museum Quarter with the new rising icon – The Depot of Museum Boijmans. On the route there is a series of art dedicated to the drama of the bombarded city, a fresh mix of street art, a spread of art masterpieces whose artists names speak for themselves: Henry Moore, Roden, Picasso, Van Lieshout. Our guide brings you to the most popular art venue – the young, avant-garde Witte de Wit street. The tour includes the area of the Cube Houses and ends in the Markthal where art and architecture combine in a spectacular way! Other things to note Comfortable shoes and seasonal clothing are highly recomended as the experience goes on with no optimal weather conditions
Intro Cyanotype - Blauwdruk workhop
Cyanotype?

Songwriting with an Award-winning Producer
Together we are going to co-write one song from scratch and then we’re going to record (demoing) our fresh song idea in our recording studio. No experience required! It’s ok if you can’t play an instrument. What you bring along: Ideas for what you like to write about. It's OK to bring your own instrument. Bring something like pen and paper, laptop, iPad or phone to write down, and maybe hum, your lyric ideas. We have an acoustic guitar, electric guitars, bass guitar and piano in the house. What we will learn: - Co-write a song and all within a short timeframe of 3,5 hours. - Studio experience, by recording your vocal, or instrument. - We record the basic song idea, so mainly 2 tracks, the chords and the melody. - Author rights in co-writing sessions are always equally shared no matter how big or small each contribution. It’s a universal rule. After the song has been recorded, I send you off and spend 2 more hours or so on adding more instruments if necessary and mixing it together as a producer. Than, I’ll make you a mp3 for you to take home so you can play the demo/song-idea for your family and friends. Congrats ! You have written your very own song! Wheelchair accessible house. Other things to note If you want to book for a group, feel free to contact me for discounts. If the date or time of your choice is not available, please send me an inquiry.
