Food Scene

A great place for some Japanese (as the name suggests) beer and buns! It's hidden above a sushi restaurant, making it a perfect little hidden gem. They also have foosball, pinball and hilarious Japanese game show playing on TV. If you go, you will need to also try their Sake Bomb, which is a fun x2 version of Jager Bomb!

Located just a quick walk from our flat is MOMMI, serving Japan meets Latin America fusion food. They have some great deals such as All You Can Eat Sushi on Sundays, Bottomless Bubbly Brunch, and our personal favorite: The Chef's Selection Set Menu serving Daily 5.30 - 7pm & All Night Long Monday + Sunday, for 2+ people.

One of the, in our opinion, best dumpling spots in Chinatown. They have a wide range of dumplings, one of them the Xiao Long Bao and other traditional Chinese dishes. You can see the dumplings being made on the spot at the window in front of the shop. It is very budget friendly!

If you're into good Mexican food and great tequila cocktails (they make an especially mean Expresso Martini) this is one of the best places in London! All their dishes are massive and delicious; we recommend particularly their fajitas. It is always a bustling place so booking in advance is recommended.

A quiet little pub hidden away in Islington. It's not the cheapest place but they have the best Sunday Roast in London. They have a variety of options (and the menu is always changing) between pork, chicken, beef and lamb. We promise you will leave the place very satisfied and full for the whole day!

If you're looking to go to East London (Such as Shoreditch or Hoxton) the Overground is the easiest way to get there as it doesn't require any transfers. Another option is to take the underground tube into Central London and switch from there.

If you'd like to adventure outside of London, Clapham Junction offers a huge amount of trains, and is one of the biggest stations in London. It takes about 20minutes to walk there from our flat, or a short 7mins bus ride (with the bus stop right outside the flat).

Shopping

One of the biggest markets in London: the Camden Market's got it all (Clothes, Vintage, Prints, Food and more)! It's known for the Punk vibe. There's also quite a few pubs and bars in the neighbourhood, making it a good place for a night out also.

Parks & Nature

A massive park situated on the south bank of the River Thames opposite Chelsea. You can have a great view of the Chelsea Bridge and Albert Bridge when you get to the river side. The park also has a big lake, and is known for the pagoda too which can be seen from the other side of the river! Recently Battersea Park also has become host to Go Ape, where you can explore the forest canopy via a treetop rope course!
