There is a trail from the garden, that will take you directly up to Lyderhorn Mountain with a breathtaking view. If you walk the road instead of the trail you'll see old gun sites.

It takes a little effort to get to the only true mountain top in Bergen. But you won't be disappointed. Start from Gravdal bay (1 - 1.5h) or Lyderhornslien (40min)

Lyderhorn is perhaps the most characteristic mountain in the Bergen region, and the mountain is tremendously popular all year around. Lyderhorn has a primary factor of 348m

Mount Lyderhorn 396moh 5km from city centre. There is several ways to walk up but the way we would recommend is the one from Skålevik. You need a car to go there and there is a parkinglot at the bottom of the mountain. I would range it a medium heavy walk. Very nice view on top.
