Ward River Valley Regional Park is a linear park on the banks of the Ward River, covering an area of 89 ha. (220 acres) between Swords town centre and Knocksedan Bridge. With a mix of open paths & woodland trails, there are also picnic sites, outdoor exercise machines and sports pitches.

Great spot for relax, walking and enjoy small piece of wilderness (if you will go off common footpath trail)

There are numerous viewing points, picnic sites, a children's playground, playing pitches and tennis courts within the parks boundaries. Swords Town Park and Swords Castle are part of this park.

Ward River Valley Park is a linear park on the banks of the Ward River. Features of particular interest in the park include some 12th century fortifications and the remains of an Italian garden.
