Great place to hang out in, for food, drinks, people watching, or nightlife on the weekends. It's a really posh hotel where one goes to socialize in Boston.

If you visit the bar/restaurant in this hotel, you wouldn't believe that it was previously a JAIL! The Liberty Lobby Bar has an energetic, social atmosphere to it with walls draped in beautiful artwork. Not to mention they have an incredible list of cocktails---my favorite is the Inferno!

Head over to the Liberty Hotel bar on the ground floor for a super fun night including dancing and lots of young people.

Old prison that has been transformed into a fabulous hotel with bar on the main level (Alibi) and trendy cocktail lounge on the upper level and with two restaurants (Scampo and Clink).

“This place has a fantastic buffet breakfast on weekends. Aside form weekends it's still a great place to eat. Get there scenically by walking past the beach and fields!”

“Well- don't go to the home, but across the street is the Madonna Queen of the Universe Shrine. Don't go on Sundays as there are masses in the morning, but any other time is great - the views are wonderful from behind Madonna- looking over the airport you can see the whole of Boston. The church is below and built into the hill (the area in Eastie- aka East Boston, is called Orient Heights). I recommend any denomination visit the church- it has some interesting art. ”
