Tips from locals
Brewery locally brewed, serves light snacks or you can bring your own picnic
The craft brewery if thats your thing. Friendly vibe, meet locals and tourists.
This is a seriously good brewery and not just because it's the only one on Orcas :) Be sure to try the nitro brews if they have one on tap.
Great beer. Be warned no good views to be seen here. Very limited food menu, no hot food.
If local brews are your style, you can find Island Hoppin' Brewery beers at almost all the local restaurants but stopping by the tasting room is still worth the time. Play a game, relax, mingle with locals and tourists alike over a pint. They don't serve a full menu but do have pretzels, peanuts,…

“Yeah, this is a must see. Moran State Park is the gem of Orcas Island. Hiking & bike trails, horseback riding, waterfalls, two lakes...and Mt. Constitution- the highest peak in the San Juan Islands. Drive up and admire the view then take a walk around Cascade lake. Swim in the summer. Play area for kids and plenty of picnic spots. Daily fee to park or use your Discover Pass.”

“The Rosario Resort and Spa is known around the world for its special place and services, including their food and the spa. Less well known, perhaps is that this is a center for going and coming to other parts of the San Juan Archipelago. In the summer months, Wildlife and Whale watching tours leave from this harbor. Kayak tours move through the waters of Rosario harbor. Boats of all kinds moor here, and you can book a day sailing adventure, or a trip to fish for the myriad of species that exist in the waters below. And in all seasons, you can come and leave by seaplane! Ask me how to book these services--I'd love to help your visit come alive.”
