We love coming here for a fun day on the paved bike trails or in the water. Rent a canoe or kayak, it’s fun to go on the channels between the little lakes. You can ride all the way into Battle Lake for an ice cream at Granny’s or dinner at a host of great places! Such a beautiful and fun park!
One summer in high school I got to work out here running the bike and boat rentals and it was one of the best summers ever! This state park has a great paved looping trail around the lake that is perfect for young families. The park also features a nice beach for swimming, and dock for small boating…
Trail notes, this park has 11 miles of hiking, 5.2 miles of paved, and 3.2 miles of mountain bike trails. In the winter the park maintains 8 miles of cross country ski trails. Snowshoeing is allowed alongside these trails.
Paved biking and scenic hiking trails. On-site bike, canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals. Picnic areas and sandy swimming beach and fishing pier on Annie Battle Lake. Explore the historic lodge.
