Stunning views from a beautiful and well tended city park designed in the Olmstead style of City Parks.
Free plays in the summer and hoilday lights in the winter. Great for walking, picnic and jogging.
Situated in the heart of Albany, Washington Park is a huge part of our community scene. Hosting local events regularly, including festivals and farmers' markets, it offers a calm, green space for families and solo travelers alike.
The 81-acre park was created during the 1870s-80s from a design by Calvert Vaux and Fredrick Olmsted, who is famous for New York City's Central Park. The park offers ten tennis courts, basketball courts and a playground.
