Why locals recommend it

Owned by my friends Jamie Alexander and Derek Song, Park Life has a ton of really accessible art stuff—books, magazines, really colorful contemporary edition sculptures, and prints. In the back, they have an art gallery where they are always finding artists before anybody else and giving them a show. Also a great place to get a gift for someone. Ask Jamie and Derek what they have in their back room, if you want to get a taste of something more than what’s hanging on the walls. Tons of good food around here too. Also twenty minutes walking distance to the de Young museum in Golden Gate Park.

Great little design store with books on design, culture and some art supplies. I think they also have t-shirts dedicated to different SF neighborhoods.

Clement Street is a gem in San Francisco. Wonderful shops and restaurants, this area is the quintessential neighborhood. To top it off is Park Life, a small hipster store that has many great books, art for sale, and other fun things for purchase. Love walking into this place and always find something I like there.
