Tips from locals
Coffee shop with pastries, lunch and breakfast - in the nearby Hyde Park district.
This is also one of the most popular spots in Boise. It's not downtown but in the heart of beautiful Hyde Park in the North End. It's a quaint little place so grab a cup of Joe and head to Camel's Back Park!
Nice atmosphere, inside and outside seating. Good coffee and offers a food menu including breakfast items such as a breakfast burrito and really good eggs benedict.

“13th Street Pub & Grill is located in the historical Hyde Park region of Boise’s North End. Patrons enjoy open-air, patio and fireside seating for a comfortable year-round dining experience. The Pub is known for it’s relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and large selection of delicious menu items. Huge selection of local/regional beers on tab, excellent food, locally-sourced whenever possible. One of our favorite places! ”

“I'm sorry but this might get a bit graphic. This place is one of my favorites for going out and dancing! On the weekends they have the Rocci Johnson Band playing semi-decent covers from a wide variety of classic songs (think Usher, Blink 182, etc.). If you are lucky, Rocci Johnson herself may be singing which is always a sight (she was doing this when my dad was in high school). You'll find bras hanging from the ceiling and on the weekends they usually are handing out, ahem, sex toys to random people next to the stage. Go early to get a good spot.”
