Every big city has their own Botanic Gardens and Cairns is no different! Regardless of the type of plants and trees specific to the region, everyone should visit this pretty landscape. Stop and enjoy a meal at the Cafe or just have afternoon tea, while you gaze into the maze of colour.

Free admission to the Botanic Gardens and the Lakes - great nature walks for all levels. Great views from the Red, Blue and Yellow Arrow walks. Loads of Cafes to choose from along Collins Avenue in Edgehill. Early morning for walks when it is cooler, then reward yourself with coffee and cake!
