Tips from locals
Very hard to get into, first come first serve til it runs out but a local icon
Be prepared to wait. You’re allowed to bring beer and wine to drink in line, id also bring some light folding chairs. It’s like tailgating but for BBQ. Absolutely world famous. Last 3 presidents all ate here (no line for them though). People have been known to wait for 3-4 hours.
Honestly the best BBQ and worth the wait. Get in line early and pack beverages while you wait. Serving starts at 11:00 (lunch only) but the line forms early 7:00 am (walk to).
This place is amazing! One of the most popular Barbecue spots in Austin. Just remember to wake up early and plan to stay in line for hours. Don't worry, it's worth it!
Best in the country visited by the likes of Anthony Bourdain and President Obama
