Tips from locals
The Lodge is packed between 11AM -1PM. On weekends, consider eating lunch early or late to avoid the congestion and get back on the slopes quicker. We really like to drive up and snowshoe the trail up to Clara and Marion Lakes (3.2 miles round trip), then head into the lodge for Icicle Brewery’s…
Ski resort just outside of Wenatchee, less than an hour and a half from Plain.
GREAT skiing and snowboarding, lessons, and a wonderful place for apre ski at the lodge. You'll love sitting on the outdoor deck with the glowing fireplace and fabulous views.
Mission ridge is smaller and quaint. Great place to have children take lessons and learn to ski.

“Pybus Market was originally a metal works factory. It has been resurrected to become a community meeting place with a great bakery, a variety of restaurants, a wine tasting bar and boutiques in an large open space. In the center isle there will often be craft vendors selling their wares. Out the back of the building is the Apple Loop Trail and the Columbia River. Head to your left and along the trail you will find various artworks. Definitely a very pleasant stroll.”
