The Commons has a nostalgic 70’s appeal. Inside, wood paneling and dated artwork adorns the wall while mossy-green booths and leather chairs are spread throughout the restaurant. Expect family-style comfort foods on the menu, like steak frites, fried Brussels sprouts and street corn mac and cheese.

We highly recommend this place, and it is walking distance from the Airbnb!i The Commons is a unique and fun retro themed restaurant and bar. It’s like going back in time and dining in your grandparents’ basement. Great cocktails. Moderately priced, but not cheap.

A pretty cool, trendy place to eat in GR. 70's themed everything. GREAT wedge salad, brussel sprouts, and macaroni!

The Commons is designed to look like a 1970s family room of your parents or grandparents home. You can sit at a table or the bar or in one of several lounge areas complete with TV trays.
