In the Duomo square there is a little Chapel where you can climb some stairs and be in front of the most stunning view available in Catania. Sometimes they charge two euros :(

Piazza Duomo is the heart of Catania, literally the heart because this square guests the “Basilica Cattedrale di Sant’Agata” (Cathedral), many old palazzi, cafè and restaurants, souvenir stores, two beautiful fountains ( one is the Elephant obelisco, symbol of the city). Also this square guests everyday from mon to Saturday the fish market of the city (located on the back right side of the square, near the fountain of Amenano).
