“If there is a low tide you can walk to the island and explore it, or you can rent a kayak and paddle over. There is a white sand beach on the island and the rest is a rocky refuge for ground dwelling birds.”

“Uncle Bobo’s has good takeout barbecue, hamburger and more. Also serves coffee and snow cones. They also serve espresso (www.unclebobos.com) We love this place but they can be slow. They are open 11AM-4PM Sat/Sun and 11AM-3PM Wed-Fri. Closed M/Tu. Good to get a plate/bowl and sit on the beach or bring it back home and eat. About 5min away!”
