Tips from locals
Bus no 23 comes right at our door and will take you to Ocean Beach and SF Zoo. Enjoy a day full of activities here looking at exotic animals, riding the train or simply relax on the beach... be sure to carry your jacket!
A great zoo not too far up the Coast. Open 10-5 daily. Be sure to pack a jacket in case of ocean breezes.
The San Francisco Zoo is about 45mins to 1hr from our area. It's quite enjoyable for anyone to visit. I recommend the train ride. It's peaceful & beautiful to experience.
Families come for the nearly 1,000 animals. Kids’ zoo, steam train, carousel & special exhibits.

“What to say? One of the great parks of the United States. Just head down the hill to Kezar Stadium (at the very bottom of Willard Street) and you'll see the GGP right beyond it (walk around Kezar to the west to enter the park). You can also enter on Stanyan and Haight (and at many other points). Enjoy the Academy of Sciences, de Young Museum, Japanese Tea Garden, Stow Lake, the Conservatory of Flowers (great night time light shows in the summer and winter) and many, many other features of the park.”

“The food is a bit pricey, but decent, but nothing too special. The place is right next to the cliff overseeing the Pacific Ocean - amazing view. It's definitely a great tourist spot to check out!”
