Tips from locals
Personal favourite - located nowhere in the middle of Yarra river and under a bridge. And yes the view of the city from this place will have you in awe. During sunset you'll have to beat the crowd to get in the pub as the Melbourne skyline just looks magnificent from this place.
Bar under the bridge on the Yarra. Watch the boats go by :) nothing better on a sunny day. Can be crowded though
A bar on an island on the Yarra River, very cheap and great beer. Highly recommend for a nice day!
A bar built onto a pontoon in the middle of the Yarra! Enter via the pedestrian bridge.
