Tips from locals
An outdoor market featuring boutiques, food, antiques, and much more. Also home to the Denizen Theater.
Think funky boardwalk, but without the beach. This is a fun part of downtown New Paltz.
Bunch of shops. Nice place to walk around or sit and have a coffee. Upstairs there is a bar with outdoor seating & views. Right on the rail trail.
Often they have music or some event going on here. Check out Ryan Cronin's art gallery (we have one of his - the fish in the Master Bath), Jarred wine bar, The Mud Puddle coffee house, and great shops.

“The Bistro is a favorite among locals and visitors for its relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. For breakfast and lunch, guests can expect a mix of traditional diner foods and other unique menu items. There are lots of vegetarian, GF, and vegan options. Be warned: due to its popularity, there might be a short wait for a table for breakfast/brunch. ”
