Hollywood Farmers’ Market
Point of Interest in Hollywood
Why I go An endless sea of food stalls make up one wing of this Sunday-morning market. You can just grab something—Thai pancakes, crepes, roasted chicken, fresh bagels and lox, a pupusa—and eat while you wander. There’s usually a musician, and maybe someone doing balloon animals or face-painting. The kids feel like they’re at a birthday party.
Insider tip We used to go at lunchtime, but now we like to go early, at 8 a.m., for breakfast. Because at that hour the people shopping are mostly chefs picking up produce for that night’s service, and it’s not that crowded yet.
