Why locals recommend it
The theme of this bar seems to change two or three times a year. Each time, they come up with a concept that’s creative and unique. I’ve even seen them paint the exterior of the building to coincide with the introduction of one of their new and ever-changing menus. The cocktails are really different, with flavors and pairings that are sometimes unexpected. They had one with Ancho Reyes, strawberry, and bonito that I thought was fantastic. I’ve also had a twist on a piña colada served in a real pineapple that was just delicious!
Tips from locals
Cocktail bar with a constantly updated themed menu of drinks. Just go with it... the drinks are delicious :)
Arguably the best cocktails in the city. An uber hip award-winning craft cocktail bar, but can be crowded so be prepared. Whimsical menus rotate every few months. Next door to Sightglass Coffee and Salumeria.
SF’s most acclaimed cocktail bar with a rotating menu in a stylish space. There are a lot of other options in the Mission, too.

“A casual and very good cafe that's been a part of the mission district for a long long time. Many local's favorite! Very good sandwiches, salads and pizzas. Not only a cafe, you can grab wine and beer and there is a beautiful outdoor patio with heat lamps. They still play bluegrass at night sometimes! love this place!”
