The B&O Railroad Museum is a museum exhibiting historic railroad equipment in Baltimore, Maryland. The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad company originally opened the museum on July 4, 1953 with the name of the Baltimore & Ohio Transportation Museum.

The collection is housed in the original, eye-catching roundhouse built in 1884. The museum collects artifacts related to early American railroading, Baltimore & Ohio (America’s first commercial railroad), Chesapeake & Ohio, Western Maryland, and other Mid-Atlantic rail systems. See, touch, and explore all kinds of items and hop on the Mile One Express, a 20-minute roundtrip train ride along the first commercial mile of railroad track, laid in 1830.

The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum is one of Baltimore's most popular attractions and offers a look at some of America's railroad history. The museum operates out of historical buildings, including the Mount Clare Station, and showcases an extensive collection of locomotives and coaches, most of them in working order.
