Widely accepted as the best Turkish restaurant in Canberra. It's normally chaotic inside, but don't be shy. Walk in and you'll see a table to your right. You will need to grab a paper bag or box and write your order and your name on it and then hand it to one of the guys on the right-hand end of the counter. You can hang around inside with everyone else until they call out your name.

Take a scenic drive from the Nishi Building through beautiful Yarralumla enjoying lake views then arrive at the Turkish Halal Pide House (take away shop). Don't be fooled by the shops interior, the food is AMAZING! Order the banquette share meal for 2. It is so delicious and it serves 4 people so plenty of food left over for lunch the next day. Or if you want the best Kebab you have ever had this is the place to go then sit by the lake and indulge.
