The Admiral Nimitz Museum is The National Museum of the Pacific War. If you're a history buff this is a must see. "Explore the 6-acre Museum Complex and immerse yourself in Pacific War history, American and Japanese culture of the time, and heartfelt tributes to the heroes of the Pacific Theater."

Perfect place to visit any day of the year, but even better when it's too hot or cold outside. Give yourself two days to meander.

BBQ Restaurant
“Good food, great drinks and live music. What more could you want? Pet friendly? Yep! They even allow pets in the outside seating area. (and will bring them a fresh bowl of water) Our favorites are the nacho construction kit with beef fajita meat. (It comes with other options like chicken and ground beef but their beef fajita meat is the bomb!) Also, fried catfish, BBQ Pig ribs and smashed potatoes (Yumm!), chicken fried steak or chicken, homemade tamales, it's all great. They even have burgers and salads. Drinks you ask? Try their famous jalapeño margarita. But beware- its strong. They also have a full bar and a variety of beers and wines to choose from. Checkout their website to see the live music schedule.”
