Pilot Butte State Park - a 15 minute drive to the other side of town, hard to believe this is right in our backyard. A simple walk/hike with 360* views of the area. Do not miss this!

See the whole city from the top of Pilot Butte. A short drive (closed to cars in winter) or hike up gets you to a 360-degree panorama of Central Oregon. See Mt. Hood and surrounding mountains and buttes, and sometimes even Mt. Saint Helens on a clear day. A must if you haven't been here.

Brewery
“Worthy Brewing is a really unique place with fantastic beer and food. They have a working observatory where they do free guided viewings of celestial objects every night, and sometimes they do sunspot viewing during the day. The also have a great outdoor biergarten with a stage, multiple levels of balcony seating in the summer, and multiple bars throughout the property.”

Brewery
“My favorite brewery in Bend for 5 years running. They usually have my favorite beer at any given time, and they span the full range of styles. They also have my favorite atmosphere, with mountain views, a big lawn with food trucks, lawn games, and room for the kids to run around. In the summer every night here feels like a block party. Happy hour is at sunset (they call it sundowner, and it changes with the seasons of course) because they have great sunset views of the mountains. ”
