Why locals recommend it
This place is the best! There’s nothing better than watching a movie and drinking a beer—or tea!—and getting food brought right to your seat. It’s such a cool concept. Their menu includes hot and iced tea, including about five or six of our Leaves and Flowers teas. Try the Rosella Mint iced tea. It’s tart, sweet, and refreshing. Alamo brews big batches of it, chills it, and kegs it. It’s cool to see people doing different things with our tea.
Tips from locals
Movie theater that shows Hollywood new releases and Indie films. Serves dinner and drinks while you watch in a restored 1950s theater!
Small Cinima with the best new releases, along with some great arthouse and classic films. Serves food and booze to your seat all movie long. Located in the renovated New Mission Theater.
Grab a beer and catch a flick in this cozy theater! Great for a date night or for the grown-up movie lover!
Art Deco masterpiece that was recently renovated. You can watch a movie while sipping on a beer or wine and order dinner to your seat.
Our favorite date night spot. It's a movie theater where you can order food and drinks and eat right from your seat. There's a dimly-lit velvety bar in the theater for a drink before or after. Comfortable seats. Must order the kimchi OR truffle popcorn!
Great, recently restored movie theater in the Mission. They serve food and drinks to you while you're seated. There is a decent bar in the complex as well but for faster service and cheaper drinks walk down to Docs Clocks. You can take BART from Glen Park and get off at 24th street - the 1st stop…

“When the weather is nice, you can barely see the grass due to the throngs of people lounging around. Luckily, the park was recently renovated and is big enough that you're bound to find a spot you like. The southwest corner is good for a panoramic view of the city skyline (and usually far enough away from the folks enjoying their herbal refreshments on the northern slope). There's also a nice kid's playground, although it's geared more towards older kids.”

“Arguably the best cocktails in the city. An uber hip award-winning craft cocktail bar, but can be crowded so be prepared. Whimsical menus rotate every few months. Next door to Sightglass Coffee and Salumeria.”
