Ok, so if you are going to be on the river in a boat, this is a great destination. You will have to launch above the Rocky Reach dam and it is a long ride but so worth it! In the summer they frequently have live music and you can even attend an art and wine class if you are lucky. It is pretty easy to tie up at the beach and if you bring beach chairs, the beach is really nice too!
