“We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Cabin #2. The cabin was just as seen in the pictures - and incredibly cosy and comfortable. A great spot to stay and explore Bowen Island. We hope to visit again soon!”

“Must stay here!! #4 Cabin was perfect for my boyfriend and I and we can’t wait to come back! Beautiful view up top, perfectly clean with everything you need in the kitchen and so cozy! The best feature is the wood burning fireplace! The hosts were so kind, helpful and amazing! We loved talking to them and made our stay more beautiful! It was the perfect getaway from our crazy busy life!”
Private suite with ocean vistas and private hot tub. This well maintained property presents beautiful views of the Salish Sea. The well-appointed one-bedroom suite has its own entrance and features a large private deck with a barbecue.
“Suite on Velvet is just a few kilometres from the bay where you will find the Small seafood restaurants and buy your fresh seafood from Tamara’s boat. We first thought we would be walking The 5 Km there and back daily, but the weather wasn’t the greatest, so we chose to drive and enjoy the local fare for lunches. We bought the fresh seafood from Tam’s boat and cooked it at the Suite.... there is no regular stove/oven, but we managed two fantastic evening meals cooking seafood pasta and the next night steak/prawns and oysters, potatoes and mushrooms using the bbq and individual induction burner. The fresh flowers and candles provided by Edda and Heiko added a nice touch, add in the late night hot tub with beautiful ambient lighting overlooking the ocean and you have yourself a perfect romantic getaway! Morning coffee sitting on the patio in the beautiful manicured gardens with the ocean view is something we will sorely miss as we head back to the prairies. There is a fabulous beach walk just a minute or two drive away. We had a 2 hour walk right along the ocean. To end my review, it doesn’t really matter whether it’s rain or shine, you’ll enjoy the privacy of this suite to relax, or find local activities if the weather permits. Edda and Heiko are super friendly and very accommodating! The suite is exceptionally clean, the bed and pillows are super comfy and the fleecy house coats are a great touch for those chilly mornings. 5 plus stars from us.”
