In a BEAUTIFUL location next to the beach and can be congested in the summer time....but....they grow and harvest their own oysters - best we have ever had - and we have ate a lot of oysters!

Getting Around

The train station is less than a 5 minute drive from our house with connections to Boston, NYC, Providence, etc. There are also public buses to go to URI, Newport, Providence, Wakefield, beaches, etc.

If you plan on going to Block Island on a weekend, get there early because of traffic and to obtain a good parking space. There always seems to be enough parking, but if you get there late you might have to walk quite a ways to the terminal.
