This great local market is only open on Saturdays 10-2. It's my favourite place to grocery shop. There are also some great artisans selling their wares. Check out Harumi the Japanese potter. It's a short walk from the Eagle's Nest. After the market you can walk to the Cook Street Village for coffee on the terrace or the go to the kids park nearby. Beacon Hill Park is also nearby as well as the beach at Dallas Road.

Take a stroll on the beach or enjoy sun bathing there. It's a pebbly beach but it's a lovely place where locals like to hang out. The views of the ocean and the Olympic Mountains are stunning!
