This little provençal village is only 40 minutes away and is situated in the beautiful Gorges du Verdon - the 'Lac de Sainte-Croix' (the third largest lake in France) begins in Bauduen and runs through several villages. Here, you can enjoy paddle-boating, surfing, kayaking, swimming or even find your own little private 'beach' along the lake - carry on to Moustiers Ste Marie for another village full of provençal charm, restaurants, cafés and see the gold-painted star, originally from the 10th century, that hangs on a 225m-long chain suspended between two cliffs.
