Good food, and one of the most romantic settings you can imagine, in the old watchtower overlooking Amalfi and the coast. If you place a reservation: make sure to specify that you mean the tower, the hotel also has another (perfectly fine) restaurant. If you visit in the afternoon also make sure to set aside time for a drink or a cup of tea in the beautiful atrium of this former convent, it's a hidden gem.

Fantastic view over the coast, especially from the Terrazzo dell'Infinito of Villa Cimbrone. Or catch a Ravello festival concert in the garden of Villa Rufolo. Take a bus from Atrani, or walk if you feel energetic.

Join an organized trip or take the regular ferry from Amalfi in high season, or take the ferry from Sorrento or Naples in low season. The sights are too many to mention here (ok, highlights are maybe the Blue Grotto, walk around the island, swim in the crystal clear waters), but you'll find all the information you need on www.capri.com.

OK, it's not exactly undiscovered, but Positano is still an exceptionally beautiful village. Take the ferry from Amalfi (in high season) or take the bus (all year), hop off either at Sponda close to the center and the sea, or at Chiesa Nuova at the top, and follow the steps and winding streets all the way down (after you've had a quick coffee at Bar Internationale, that is). Treat yourself to a drink at Hotel Sirenuse or Murat, or have lunch and a swim at Fornillo beach in the western part of the village, it's calmer than the main beach.

Not one of the famous villages on the coast, but in our opinion still one of the nicest. In high season there are ferries from Amalfi several times a day, otherwise there's always the bus. Have lunch at for instance Acquapazza, and have a swim at the beach right in the village center afterwards, or at the other lovely beach behind the old watchtower.
