Excellent food, healthy and good! Also serve alcohol if need a bloody mary on a Sunday. It is small and very popular so there may be a wait and it closes after lunch. If in a hurry Nookies 2 is very close as a second choice...no bloody mary though there, but a quick breakfast if in a hurry if not prime time Saturday and Sunday.

I remember when this place opened up. Yeah, there are those yummy high priced cupcake places around but this place has a nostalgic feeling and a cool place to see what is available for a quick treat.

One of my favorite places and seems to get busy so I tend to sit at bar where you can eat as well if do not have time to wait if it is during busy hours. Excellent Sangria, my favorite is the passions fruit as well as margaritas.

This beach is known for volleyball and is always fun to watch as well as bike ride or take a run. All the beaches connect one way you will bump into Gold Coast Beach and the other way Fullerton Beach. The views are amazing and always boats out in the summer.

This place is next to Lincoln Park Zoo and is free as well. It is so pretty inside with various plants from all over the world. Definitely worth a stroll if you are in Lincoln Park (the Park), or the zoo or on the way to the beach.

This store has been around forever. It is like a museum of cute, odd things of all sorts and quite large. If you need a last minute gift for any budge, check it out. I sometimes just walk in to see what is on sale and what cool things they have. I can spend an hour just peeking around.

If you need to catch a sports game, this is the place to go. Quite large and always crowded during games. But for those who want to peak in and see what your favorite team is doing, this is the place to go.

Entertainment & Activities

Love this zoo as it is free of charge and beautiful, clean and has a really cool farm area with farm animals. The lake is across the street from the zoo. I would advise not cutting through the zoo to get to the beach, as it was a a maze and I got lost for an hour figuring it out. Since it was summer many tourists so no one could help me. lol
