Bergamot is a restaurant with a small bar where you can get top notch drinks and small dishes. Paul the barman is an alchemist who prepares his own concoctions and can nail a classic cocktail such as the Manhattan. The Loire Valley wines are unusual and very pleasant. From their web site: "Inventive American plates based on seasonal ingredients in an airy, upscale setting"

Located in the heart of Harvard Square, this shop is worth the 15 min walk from the airbnb. Hands down the best chocolates and hot chocolate in all of Boston. In the summer, they make delicious iced drinks. They have a selection of fine Viennese-French inspired baked goods, of which the luxembourgers and kirsch cake are my favorites. The granada single origin hot chocolate is to die for. The hazelnut paste chocolates are equally terrific.
