The Flying Fox Bistro is very tasty, and the bar at the Bowlo is a great spot. Inside, or outside under the umbrellas.

Parks & Nature

A 40 minute walk up the roadway will get you to the Lighthouse, where you can check out the whales, and be reminded of how awesome that Pacific ocean really is. You can stop for a coffee, then head down the stairs to Australia's most Easterly point. Follow the trails to Wategoes beach, (swim with the Celebs) head along to the B.B.Qs at the far end, see the track over the headland and walk up and over back down to Palm Valley, AKA 'The Pass' check out the surfers from the lookout, then walk home via the beach, if the tide is down, or back up the hill to the main road. Set aside about 3 hours, take some water, sunscreen, and have swim on the way. Top day.
