The food (tapas) and drinks (craft beers, cocktails and unique wines)are special, and the vibe is friendly/cool. Can dress up or dress down, sit inside or outside, choose a romantic table for 2 or a big farm-table for a group. https://www.deliciosa.co.nz

It's simply the best restaurant/winery in Hawkes Bay for a very special evening out. Plus a lovely, curvy, scenic drive along the Tuki Tuki road out to the coastal setting.

This Indian restaurant, owned and operated by the friendly Alam, produces some of the best curries we've ever tasted, outside or inside of India! Great attention to detail, in both food and service. Usually stay open late to catch the Cinema crowd across the street. Open on Monday, one of the few!

They serve an excellent dinner here (or a special lunch outside under the vines), but have also recently created a lovely space to go linger over a drink... either up by the bar, or on couches beside an open fireplace... cocktails, beer and of course wine.

Access to the Tuki Tuki River is a 15min walk or 2min drive down Rochfort Road. Look for the NZ Fish&Game sign posted on a gate. Remember to always leave gates as you find them. The Tuki Tuki is known for good populations of large Rainbow Trout as well as some Browns. For comprehensive fishing information go to: https://www.nzfishing.com/FishingWaters/HawkesBay/HBFishingWaters/HBTukituki.htm
