Food Scene

Enterier and conceptually divided into two parts, a bar and a restaurant, and has a separate room for tastings, meetings and presentations. Special attention is paid to the selection of foodstuffs. Meat is purchased from proven domestic farms and baked in its own juices, while boiled meat in the form of painfully (meat cooked in aromatic soup) with a combination of vegetables and mustard has not yet been seen on our market. Cured meat products are cut in front of guests on the unique Berkel machine. Thursday is a day for "100% sea and river" and then there is only a fish menu. Sasha does not work at Sundays or Mondays at dinner time.

The name of our restaurant was created in an interesting way. Namely, the great influence was on the well-known film "Walter Defends Sarajevo" and the performance of this artistic work by Velimir Bata Zivojinovic. It was kind of logical to connect Sarajevo, Valter and, of course, cevapi. Great place to try authentic Serbian cuisine that is mostly based on meat. More than 20 dishes, 20 salads and many more. Only several minutes of walk is deviding you from tasting the spirit of Serbia.

Parks & Nature

Kalemegdan, is the largest park and the most important historical monument in Belgrade. It is located on a 125-metre-high (410 ft) cliff, at the junction of the River Sava and the Danube. Its name is formed from the two Turkish words: "Kale" (meaning "fortress") and archaic word of Turkish origin "megdan" (meaning "battlefield"). Kalemegdan Park, split in two as the Great and Little Parks, was developed in the area that once was the town field. It provides places of rest and entertainment. Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park together represent a cultural monument of exceptional importance (from 1979), the area where various sport, cultural and arts events take place.

In 1868, when the National Theater in Belgrade was founded, Serbia barely had over a million and two hundred thousand inhabitants. The entire Serbian education had 423 male and 54 female "teachers" of female elementary schools. Belgrade has just passed a figure of 25,000 residents living in 3,444 homes. There were 68 residents, one teacher 262, one doctor 442, and one lawyer 1481 inhabitants. Sixties of the 19th century Belgrade is one big village halfway from Ottoman to European civilization. It is home to traders, craftsmen, clerks, soldiers, peasants, wardens and homeless people.

Until 1829, in the place between the building of the Patriarchate and today's konak there was a second (old) courtyard, which was used for housing. Regarding his age and mood, Prince Miloš decided to build another pot. The new conqueror, as it was called at the time of the building, was bigger and more representative than Gospodarsko, because it was necessary to bear witness to the growing economic power and the consolidated power of Miloš Obrenović after obtaining the Hatisherif in 1830. Konak knitinje Ljubice is one of the most representative preserved examples of civil architecture of the first half of the 19th century in Belgrade. It was built in the period from 1829-1830. years.
