This neighborhood is unique. The Avenue in Hampden is worth checking out- it has many small interesting local shops and many places to eat. If you're looking for vintage stores then the Avenue is the place to go! Also, during Nov. 24th - Jan. 1st, there's an annual display of holiday lights on 34th street that's worth to check out.

The Bun shop is around the corner from my apartment and is really easy to walk to for a coffee! This cafe is open late until 3am and besides coffee and tea it has buns! It's a great place to bring your laptop and do some work.
