The AGB also has a permanent collection of considerable depth. Some of the collection is currently on view at Bancroft’s town council chambers. A curatorial committee arranges the exhibition schedule, drawing largely on local and regional artists who often make work relating to the locale. There have been exhibitions from all areas of artistic expression, including figuration, abstraction, industrial or urban themes and history, all in a wide range of media. Exhibitions change monthly, and openings are usually on the first Friday of the month.
