Cute little town just north of Whitefish near the Canadian Border. Enjoy driving through the mountains, past aqua Dickey Lake, and arrive in Eureka. Eat brunch at Cafe Jax or have a burger at Front Porch Grill. Try the Eureka burger with huckleberry ice cream on it. Ask locals for directions to hidden lakes and waterfalls, and enjoy a day of sightseeing.

Easy 1 mile trail, that anyone can do. Hike through beautiful cedar trees, past a stunning waterfall up to a glacier fed lake. Parking is tricky during busy summer months, so consider taking the shuttle.

If you have the chance, drive this road. Better yet, get a bike and ride it in May or June before the road opens to vehicle traffic. You will not regret it. You can ride from Avalanche up the road as far as it is open. Pass by the Weeping Wall, past glaciers and look down into the valley. Bikes, including E-bikes can be rented at any local bike shop.
