My personal favorite brunch spot and a Montreal staple... old-fashioned diner layout and great quality products. However, expect a lineup on Saturday and Sunday until 1 pm (they don't take reservations). They also don't have a lot of seating space so that is to be considered for groups bigger then 4 or 6.

Montreal's most known Portuguese chicken joint... Expect lineups but it is worth it. However, not much room to eat inside.

Personal favorite in Montreal for everything Greek. However, beware, great quality of fish and seafood but it does come at a price ($$$$). Also, make sure to reserve. P.S. They have a late night menu that's a lot cheaper then the regular priced menu.

Best and most fresh products in Montreal, in my opinion. Always a good idea to get food there and then eat it (pre-made or a picnic) by the canal which is 2 minutes away by walk.

Biggest and most popular arena/stadium/venue in Montreal. If you're looking to experience a Montreal Canadiens hockey game or attend your favorite artists' concert, the Bell Center is the place to be. P.S. Don't hesitate to let me know if you want my personal contact for last minute (often discounted) tickets to most events at the Bell Center.

Nightlife

Rustic bar in the Mount Stephen Hotel (5 star hotel) known for its 19th century Scottish decor. Nice place to get a drink in the heart of downtown. I would suggest this spot more for a date then for a group of guys under 25 years old. P.S. It's on the pricier end but great service/drinks and decor makes up for it.
