Providence Streets

Providence is all about its little streets and squares, in no particular order, here is a list of locales to check out: - Federal Hill, Atwells Ave - The traditional "Little Italy" of Providence, check out DePasquale Square, Pastiche for Desert and a myriad of classic Italian restaurants and deli's - Thayer Street - The college hangout spot for RISD and Brown University, check out the Avon Cinema and grab a slice at Antonio's - Wickenden Street - the Heart of Fox Point, there's a million shops and restaurants, especially if you turn up Ive's Street where my favorite restaurant, Tallulah's Taqueria is located between a vegan ice cream shop (Like No Udder) and a hidden backyard tiki patio (Captain Seaweed's) - Wayland Square - Red Stripe's take on the Portuguese style littlenecks is a personal favorite, and around the corner McBride's is a perfect Irish Pub - Westminster Street - Downcity, Westminster is lined with string lighting, artisan shops, and restaurants, try a cocktail at the Eddy or play boardgames and foosball at the Malted Barley - Broadway - The Columbus Theatre anchors this gorgeous street with great restaurant choices, From Nick's to Broadway Bistro to the Grange, another great vegan option with fantastic cocktails, you can't go wrong. - Luongo Square to West Fountain - This is the newest epicenter of PVD's culinary scene, everything along this row is excellent, and it's all a short walk from the house - Hope Street - Another cool street with lots of shops and restaurants- you gotta check out Frog and Toad, it has the coolest gifts in the City
