Best Poutin in town! One food that you really need to try during your visit is the famous "Poutin". Poutine is a dish that includes french fries and cheese curds topped with a brown gravy. It originated in Quebec.

Mont Royal street on the Plateau ( 5 Block south of the apartment) is pretty much essential if you really want to to get a feel for what Montreal is like. It is by far the most vibrant part of the city with plenty of cool shops, restaurants and bars.

Since you are at the heart of the Plateau. Take time to walk around.... Often regarded as one of the hippest, prettiest and overall most fun areas of the city, Plateau Mont-Royal has plenty of photogenic staircases, tastefully decorated eateries, passionate residents, and heaps of charm.
