Sligo Creek has a lovely trail next to it- perfect for biking, running, or walking! Reach Sligo Creek by walking along Carroll Ave. Dip down to the park just before the bridge. Detailed directions from our house: At the bottom of our driveway, take a left. At the second light, bear left to stay on Carroll Ave. Keep going down the hill on Carroll and you’ll come to a bridge that crosses Sligo Creek Park. Just before that bridge, take the right that drops dramatically. Cross the road at the bottom to get to the other side of the creek, where you will find a path. This pathway meanders along the creek, replete with joggers and bikers. That’s your closest bit of nature.
