If you want some legit tacos for a small amount of cash, head to the taqueria nestled in the back of this Mexican market in downtown St. Johns. The decor is nothing to write home about, but I'm told they are expanding the dining area into the space next door to better serve the taco craving masses.

We end here a lot for a beer and a quick bite to eat. Leisure has a nice selection of rotating taps and a menu of pressed panini sandwiches, salads and delish tomato bisque. When the weather is nice, you can play ping pong and bocce ball on the back patio. Also a great and rarely overrun spot for breakfast on the weekends. Tuesday night is trivia night!

Occidental makes some damn fine German-style beers and its tasting room is located at the base of the St. Johns bridge. If you want some food with that beer, head across the courtyard to the second-story Wursthaus, which serves up German wurst, pretzels, and schnitzel as well as a killer view of the bridge. Minors are allowed in the Wursthaus.
