One of the best places in town for "Orxata" a tradiitonal drink made from tiger nuts, refreshing and sweet. Massive queues in summer on a sunny day, people travel from a distance to have a drink here.

Some of the best tapas in town at a good value and right in front of the apartment. Gerome the owner is a lovely person, the food is outstanding and they have very good beer on tap, great wines too.

A new place opened by the same people who also run Mosquito (Chinese Dumplings and other "tapas") and Grasshopper (very good Ramen) and a number of other bars/restaurants in the centre of town. This one here is close to the apartment and has a selection of Asian favourites from their other restaurants. All of their places have onething in common. Good quality Asian food coupled with excellent artisanal beers on tap.

Best place for brunch in the neighbourhood. Often full as it is only a small place but you can call and book ahead. They have excellent pan cakes, poached eggs and other warm breakfast options, coupled with some of the best coffee in the neighbourhood.
