Sarah ist um Ihre Gäste sehr bemüht. In der Wohnung fühlt man sich sehr wohl.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Lena im Getreidekasten war die reinste Erholung, und unsere Kinder wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Die Hütte ist urig, das Matratzenlager großzügig, die Ausstattung gut und gemütlich, und die Gastgeber unglaublich herzlich. Die Anlage ist ein reines Paradies für Kinder, und in die Lamas haben wir uns alle verliebt. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt, und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank Lena!

Schon vor der Anreise war die Kommunikation mit Lena bezüglich des Aufenthalts sehr unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Von der Unterkunft selber waren wir (Gruppe von 7) sehr begeistert. Die Küche war super ausgestattet und die Kästchen netterweise beschriftet, um uns die Suche zu vereinfachen. Selbstgemachte Linzer-Torten-Kekse in Lamaform gab es auch, die waren großartig, genauso wie das selbstgemachte Brot zum Frühstück. Draußen gibt es im Garten genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten und die Möglichkeit zu grillen. Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos zu sehen mit vielen Kleinigkeiten liebevoll verziert, man findet jedes Mal etwas neues. :) Die Lamas haben direkt nebenan ihren Stall bzw. ihr Gehege, man hat also gut die Möglichkeit ihnen beim Gras fressen zuzuschauen. Man kann auch eine Wanderung mit ihnen machen, haben wir diesmal zwar nicht, ist aber bestimmt eine lustige Erfahrung! Für uns hätte das Wochenende nicht besser sein können! Die Hütte ist toll, die Leute waren wahnsinnig freundlich und Lamas sind schon sehr witzige Tiere :)

Renate welcomed us warmly with a tour of the house, tips on the area and an array of local offerings--fresh bread, cheese, yogurt, butter, milk and homemade jam! We immediately felt at home. The house is a reflection of Renate's artistry--every surface and corner thoughtfully arranged. The house is spacious and comfortable. We were only there a couple nights, but wished we'd had much longer. Still we managed to squeeze in a mini-cruise and bike tour of the Danube from nearby Melk, along with drives through the spectacular countryside. A perfect spot for a family vacation. Highly recommended!

Renate's welcome was truly kind. The house is really spacious, cosy, warm and very well equipped (e.g. dishwasher). The reconstruction of the old house excellently balances modern comfort with historical feeling. Also the neighborhood is quiet. We truly enjoyed the visit with our kids.

This lovely, very comfortable little house was the perfect place for our family to stay while in the area and Renate was a very thoughtful host. I'd highly recommend it if you are in the area!

My family and I have just come back from a long Easter weekend at Renate's farmhouse where we had the most relaxing and enjoyable few days. The house is really charming, beautifully restored with lots of nice details and a lovely front garden for the kids to play in. It's spacious, with plenty of room for 4 people and has everything you need. Renate was a very thoughtful host, even bringing us freshly baked "pinze" on Easter sunday...We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at renates place over the weekend to explore the mostviertel and nearby wachau. The house has just an awesome spirit with its old wood beams, nice kitchen and the enchanted garden, perfect for 2 to 4 people. Renate is a perfect host, even invited us for a coffe before we left. Highly recommended!

Mein Freund, unsere zwei Hunde und ich haben 8 erholsame Tage in dem wunderschönen und sehr empfehlenswerten Bauernhaus verbracht. Sich vor dem Kamin kuscheln und einfach abschalten. War spitze! Renate ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und sehr hilfsbereit. Danke Renate und hoffentlich bis bald!!

A unique mix of old and new. A chance to see an old house reborn in the XXI century. When we got there it was a biblic rain.... and inside no noise at all... paradise for a driver after 1200 km in one day. Sadly... i was on the run, the only hope is to be back there one day to enjoy a perfect host and place.

It was really nice experience to spent one night at Waltraude Und Ernst’s house. We had warm welcome from them. Apartment was nice, clean, well equiped with lot of privacy. We can recommend this! P & Z

The place is unique and quiet. It is attached to the main home but definitely secluded and the host was very helpful and accommodating. It is a good stop for a road trip but hard to find if you do not have a car. Very clean beds and bathroom and you can use the kitchen to cook! Recommend for solo travelers or couples.

Das Ehepaar Raab haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und sich um unseren Wohl ausgezeichnet gekümmert. Die Stimmungsvolle Wohnung mit lebendigem Feuer im Kamin hat uns Ruhe und tiefe Erholung gespendet. Die wunderbare Atmosphäre und Freundlichkeit hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Feedback meiner Tochter... ich leite es einfach weiter: Danke liebe Waltraude, lieber Ernst! Wir haben uns in der total feinen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Eure liebe Tochter hat uns beim ankommen willkommengeheißen und uns alles (URL HIDDEN) war alles sehr liebevoll hergerichtet mit kleinen Überraschungen überall. Unser kleiner Sohn war auch ganz begeistert vom schönen Garten und Ernsts Arbeit mit den Bienen. Unsere Hündin war total entspannt und hätte bei schönerem Wetter sicher auch gerne mehr Zeit im Garten verbracht.. Ich war untertags immer sehr lange auf Fortbildung und habe es sehr genossen, in euer Appartement nach Hause zu kommen. Danke für die vielen Leckereien! Ihr wart sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber! It was the perfect place to stay. A calm location with nice room and kitchen which has direct access to garden. Easy and uncomplicated communication. If anyone travelling from Salzburg to Vienna or vice versa. I would prefer this place a great stopover to stay.

This apartment is wonderful! It is in a nice little town and a great place to use as a stopover between Salzburg and Vienna. The apartment has everything you could need in an Airbnb. It was easy to get to and there was a nice grocery store near by. The apartment is really cool and has a lot of fun decorations. I highly recommend!

Kati's apartment it's very nice, well arranged and close to center. It is clean, large enough for a family with kids, and it has a small garden, a nice place to have the cofee in the morning. Just 30 minutes to Melk Abbey. We felt great

Gemutliche Wohnung in einer tollen und ruhugen Lage. Die Gegend ist auch super. Bei Kati hatten wir wirklich nichts zu bemängeln.

War alles wie erwartet bzw. beschrieben, Kommunikation war easy und check-in auch, obwohl wir und ein bisschen verfahren hatten. Die Wohnung ist schön und gemütlich :)

Looks very pretty, but Needs a bit improvement

Anna's cottage accomodations are very cozy and make for a lovely quiet getaway-- still in close access to the attractions of Melk. The sauna/wellness room was an especially nice treat! Only suggestions would be to provide more of the house rules with English translation-- though my kack of Getman skills is on me! Guessing most guests must be fluent as there seemed lots of good information laid out for guests.Thank you Anna for the thoughtful touches and very responsive communication! Well recommended for a quiet getaway night or two!

Cute secluded place to stay. The host is really helpful ahe also gave us her bicycles to use. The main city of Melk is about 1- 2 hrs by bicycle ride, depending on your speed. The say was comfortable and it's right next to a stream, great view. There is is a place called the grubers, 5 mins from the house with great food, especially the beef galsch

Anna Valerie was incredibly welcoming and the Romantic Apartment was such a charming rental. My phone ran out of charge before receiving the full instructions to the apartment, however I was able to find my way and get settled regardless. Anna Valerie was communicative and helpful throughout my stay. The cottage has everything you could want for a relaxing getaway -- the apartment has a kitchenette and coffee maker, in addition to the kitchen and the spa accessible via the front entrance. Highly recommended if you are traveling along the Danube to or from Vienna.

Es war sehr schön, ich komme wieder im Sommer, mit dem Kajak.

Anna Valerie is een goede en welwillende gastvrouw. Over haar niets dan lof. Alleen viel de accommodatie ons tegen, omdat deze zich eigenlijk in de kelder bevindt naast de saunaruimte, waar de douche en het toilet zijn. De kamer is muf en klam, heeft alleen een heel klein raam, dus donker en is vrij laag vanwege die kelder. Het historische huis ligt naast de doorgaande weg 3 en daardoor ontzettend veel verkeersoverlast. Konden niet met open raam slapen. Dit vonden we ontzettend storend. Het huis ligt in een prachtige omgeving aan de Donauradweg en er is ontzettend veel te zien: Stift Melk, Wachau, Krems, Grein etc. Dus al met al een goede uitvalsbasis, maar op een te drukke locatie gelegen en de 2-persoons kamer op de begane grond is te benauwd.

The apartment is spacious and very convenient to the abbey and to town. Shops close at 6 so plan accordingly. Apartment is above a small bar/cafe so was noisy (for us) until midnight.

Dean was away but we were met by the caretaker who lives in the same building, having a common entrance. Although his English is very limited everything was explained to us satisfactorily. The location is absolutely great being right in the centre of the old town. The apartment is clean bright and spacious however much of the space can not be utilised. There are big two empty passageways and in comparison the kitchen is tiny and is compromised by the bathroom door which opens outwards into the kitchen space. The fridge door has a cabinet cover which is detaching itself and requires lifting the fridge each time to close it. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped for self catering. Bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. However the main one sits above a pub from which cigarette smoke and noise permeate and make it unpleasant to sleep. The wifi system only worked effectively if you stood next to it out in the entrance and the download was very slow. On our last night the actual wifi device was missing. This place has potential but needs to be set up properly.

This is a beautiful apartment and honestly you can't get a better location in Melk. The entrance to the Abbey is right next to the apartment. We didn't meet Dean, but his family helped us get situated and were really nice! Although the Wifi didn't work, we would recommend this place to anyone visiting Melk.

we arrived in the evening, and was well received. nice and happy. we will be renting this apartment next time we will be in austria. the kids and my girlfriend loved the place, great location and great sights.

Dean was very good host, our arrival flight was seriously delayed and he was very understanding, we are very grateful.

Very good location, 5 min walk from the main attraction of Melk - the Abbey. All essentials present. Kitchen rather small. A lot of space but not all of it is of use for us - it is former office re-designed as living apartment. The bedroom needs new furniture - bedside tables and lamps for reading. It also should not be separated from living room by glass wall. Also the mattress could be better. The host was very helpful, easy to arrange key exchange and the like.

Unfortunately we had to cancel as our kid got sick. The owner was very understanding. We hope to go next weekend.

Unser Wochenende bei Renate war ein Traum, die Unterkunft ist liebevoll und mit ganz viel Flair renoviert, alles war sauber, Grundnahrungsmittel standen zur Verwendung bereit. Renate hatte uns soggar ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk bereit gestellt. Der Garten war ebenso wunderbar, wir haben jede Mahlzeit draußen genossen und uns beim Yoga perfekt entspannt. Renate selbst hat uns zu Beginn alles genau erklärt und ab zu vorbeigeschaut um zu Fragen ob alles in Ordnung ist und uns sonst einfach unser Wochenende genießen lassen. Wir fanden es schade dass wir so bald schon wieder fahren mussten und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten!!

Renate ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns bei ihr sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die von ihr liebevoll gestaltete Wohnung (plus Garten) hatten einen hohen Erholungswert. Wir können einen Aufenthalt bei Ihr voll und ganz empfehlen.

Sehr nette gemütliche Wohnung, der Kamin beschert wunderbare Winternächte in heimeliger Stimmung. Renate ist eine sehr freundliche, zurückhaltende Gastgeberin, die viele Infos rund um das Dorf und die Umgebung zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man sich mal aus dem Alltag ausklinken will und zum Beispiel endlich mal wieder zum Lesen kommen will. Kommen gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss eines urigen Bauernhauses und ist eigentlich uralt, aber top hergerichtet. Highlight ist der Kaminofen, der bei uns auch jeden Tag in Betrieb war. Die Küche war so gut ausgestattet, dass wir jeden Abend lecker kochen konnten. Angenehm war auch die Fußbodenheizung im Bad, eine Ausstattung, die man in so einem alten Haus nicht unbedingt erwartet. Renate stand uns bei Fragen und Problemen auch noch spätabends jederzeit zur Verfügung. Man kann diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, zumal im Sommer auch noch der herrliche Garten genossen werden kann.

Wat een fijne plek is dit! Het was een erg warm weekend maar binnen was het heerlijk koel. De tuin is fantastisch, we hebben lekker gegeten aan de lange tafel. Het appartement is gezellig ingericht waardoor we ons direct bij binnenkomst thuisvoelden. Renate is vriendelijk en de communicatie verliep perfect. Al met al hadden we dus een heerlijke tijd in dit kleine dorpje.
