Wow, what a treat, this comfortable up market self contained flat was perfect for our stay in Dover. Pam couldn't have been more accommodating and helped us with everything we needed during our stay.

We went to Dover for the weekend to escape London and could not have picked a better place. There were fresh flowers on the table when we arrived, as well great breakfast options (milk, orange juice, yoga, cereal) and Pam picked up a fresh loaf of bread for us once we arrived. Also, they offered us use of their bikes:) They were also flexible with check in/out times which was great as we were busing. Hospitality was great and location was good. We would definitely stay here again.

Pam's flat was absolutely lovely. I got the peace and quiet I was looking for, and she was extremely generous with my unsure arrival and departure times over the weekend. The flat is very close to a bus stop and the Kearsney train station, plus there's a really charming walk down some steps to a nearby river if you're looking for a nature stroll that isn't the White Cliffs. All in all, it was sublime.

What a wonderful flat! We had chosen this place for a stopover at Dover before returning to Germany by ferry. Communication was perfect. We were welcomed by Pam's daughter Emma, who showed us round und gave us all the information we needed. We could park our car in front of the house, and had to go down a few steps to the apartment at the quiet backside of the house. We could even use the lovely garden, which we we did. We very much enjoyed sitting there for a while, having sandwiches and a drink. The flat was clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated a loaf of bread, butter, jam, marmelade, cereals, orange juice, milk, tea, and coffee very much!

Wonderful basement apartment. It is a bit of a walk from the Dover Priory station, but well worth it! Pam was lovely and overall this was one of our very favorite experiences with airbnb thus far.

Stayed in Dover for a weekend out of London with my girlfriend. The flat was absolutely wonderful and far surpassed our expectations. There is a lovely garden in the back and Pam was an extremely generous host. The location is great and the apartment is quiet at night and brings in beautiful sunlight during the day. Pam was very helpful with everything and even offered to change the linens during the day! She also has great knowledge of the area and was open to giving tips on where to go and what to see. It was ideal for what we were looking for and I would suggest it to anyone who is in town for whatever reason.

Great place to break a ferry journey.

The place was awesome! Very nice and clean apartment on the top of the house which is itself on the top of a hill offering a wonderful view of the Dover castle. Less than 10 min walk from the town center. Aileen is really welcoming and so kind! We've really enjoyed our stay!

Staying in Aileen's house was a great pleasure. The flat was clean and offered everything you could ever need. The view at the castle was magnificent and so was the visit to the castle itself. We didn't see Aileen when we left, but want to thank her in this way for making our visit to Dover one to remember.

She was very friendly and welcoming - giving us a few ideas on things today and some stories about dover. 4 of us stayed for one night and thought the beds were comfortable, the value was good, and the location was great. Aileen was very welcoming and helpfully pointed out some amenities in the local area. There was plenty of parking on the road. I found the room very comfortable and more than well equipped - everything you could need for cooking and cleaning in the kitchen, and some essentials in the bathroom in case you've forgotten anything. I would happily visit again, I only wish I could have stayed longer than one night to explore the area! View of the castle and sea from the room were also lovely.

Our accommodation was very bright, clean and decorated beautifully and had lots of practical little things to make the stay more comfortable (e.g. spare batteries for the remote). The apartment is very central, with a small supermarket just 30m away and many other main street shops 50-200m away and Dover Harbour only 200m away. The host Lucy was very responsive and accommodating when we had questions / requests. The apartment was very good value and I highly recommend to anyone looking for affordable and lovely accommodation central to Dover.

Lucy (host) was amazing. Apartment very clean and tidy with cute 0. The kitchen (with a fridge and freezer) was very hand for cooking amd preping own meals. Very handy having washing machine and dryer. Very convenient location- close to the middle of dover town and only short walk to harbour front. This wasy 2nd stay... i hope to stay here next year too!

Great flat, great hosts, great location. Absolutely perfect for swimmers. The flat is really spacious and can easily fit a boat crew. Loved the leafy views one side and the castle the other.

I loved my stay here. I think it is a lovely flat. I particularly loved how bright and airy it is. Bed comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Everything so convenient - all necessary things within a short walking distance. Provisions can be purchased at the Co-op within a minute's walk! If you prefer not to self-cater there are plenty of places to eat really close by - I enjoyed The Honey Pot for breakfast. If I swim the English Channel again I will be back in Dover and hopefully able to stay here.

Lucy was great with answering questions before our arrival. Upon arrival she was on time and took the time to go over amenities and local information. The flat provided ample storage space and room for 6 guests. I could see it still remaining comfortable with 8 guests.

The best Airbnb! Lovely place, super clean and cozy. It is located above the pub which is a super plus. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the staff couldn't be any better! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Excellent value for money in a beautiful part of the country. There were 6 of us + 2 dogs + little baby staying. We hadn't quite realised that the apartment was part of the hotel, which was a pleasant surprise, seeing as there was a fabulous pub downstairs and a slap-up breakfast included! It also meant that if we needed any extra supplies/linen, all we had to do was ask. Would highly recommend for a weekend getaway.

This was a great spot to base our vacation from. The apartment was very spacious and had the amenities we needed. The restaurant and pub downstairs were great and we enjoyed breakfast lunch dinner and drinks there during our stay. There was never any noise issue despite being just 2 floors up from the pub. We've only spent one night with our 2 kids (5 - 3) and my parents at the White Cliff's Hotel and it was too short! Our appartement was ideal for the whole family, convenient, clean, well decorated, comfy. Good beds, good internet. Food at the restaurant is delicious. Huge breakfast and buffet. Warm welcoming, ideally situated. We will come back again.

The apartment is the perfect place for a short break in Kent or stop over for Dover ferries...we had a lovely walk to beach, visited lovely Deal and wished we could stay longer. All the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommended and we'll tell all our friends :)

I recently booked this place for my boyfriend's birthday and I have to say we really enjoyed staying here! I'd highly recommend St Margaret's Bay over any place in Dover as it's secluded from any city vibe and easy to disconnect. The place we stayed in was very cosy - ideal for a couple and maybe with a child. 5 minutes walk from the sea where you'll find the "local" pub and a good (pleasant) 15/20 minute walk from the cliffs. The garden is beautiful and the landlady (Maggie) was lovely. She left us breakfast, toiletries and essentials. She was also very helpful in talking to us about the area and places worth visiting which was nice of her. Overall, a pleasant place ideal for anyone who wants a romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city!

This listing was a fantastic find! Maggie was a lovely host. She responded quickly to my messages prior to our trip, had bread/milk/fruit waiting for us, and provided a carry cot for our 5 month old daughter. The cottage is clean, beautifully decorated, and has all necessary amenities. The location is amazing! We took a 5 minute walk through a wooded area and were literally standing on the White Cliffs. A further 15 minute walk along the cliffs is a lighthouse. We also traveled to Deal, Canterbury, and Dover's harbor - all within 20 minutes by car. I highly recommend this listing. It won't disappoint!

Maggie made sure we had smooth arrival even though we were arriving very late in the evening. The flat is lovely and has views into a stunning garden. We had very comfortable weekend stay and as Maggie recommended we booked at table at The Coastguard and had very nice dinner there. South Foreland Cottage makes a great place to get away from busy London life!

I would recommend Maggies place if you like to walk it's just five minutes from the white cliffs and five minutes from the beach and restaurant or just to relax on the patio and enjoy the garden

10 out of 10. We were very lucky to find and secure this amazing gem of a cottage at short notice. Maggie was an incredibly warm and welcoming host with an immaculately presented property set in very beautiful gardens. Ideally situated within very close proximity to the beach and great walks, the stunning scenery from the white cliffs of Dover is not to be missed! We can highly recommend a stay with Maggie and very much hope to return again in the future........ our only complaint was that the time passed much much too quickly!! Maggie's property is incredible value for money and no one could possibly be disappointed with their stay.

What an exceptional place - this has to rank as the best of the Airbnb places we have stayed in! We were late in arriving and met Tim on arrival, who was very welcoming and friendly and spent time showing us around the apartment. They left a welcome pack in the kitchen with all we needed for the first morning. The kitchen is full of everything you need if you want to buy food and cook from home. The apartment is immaculate and feels like a home from home as well as the bedroom feeling like a hotel. The location is amazing with a fantastic view on the Channel. It was also the perfect spot for us to visit other towns such as Deal. We could not recommend Jenny & Tim's place more and we hope to be back!

Jennys place was amazing. My sister and I lived there for to days as we were walking the North Downs Way in march. Jenny is a very nice and helpful host. Wow! What a wonderful AirBnB listing. We have experienced many locations and found Jenny and Tim's apartment amongst the very best we have experienced. The location is secluded and extremely quiet. Views over the English Channel to Calais are stunning. Join the locals for a drink at The Coastguard Hotel or simply enjoy a walk along the white cliffs always watching the passing ships. Jenny will even provide you with a website that allows you to monitor all the ships, noting their name, departure port and destination. The apartment is impeccably decorated and with a lovely greeting pack awaiting your arrival you are assured of having a great stay. Jenny and Tim are always available for any queries you may have and their hospitality was faultless. Enjoy yourselves if you decide to visit St Margaret's at Cliffe

What an amazing place! This was by far one of the best airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Communication with Jenny was perfect - she was lovely, informative and helpful every step of the way. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything and more than we needed! As we arrived late, she even went to the shop to make sure we had some food upon arrival. The apartment is gorgeous - decorated beautifully and it was especially festive (as it was christmas) to have a sparkling Christmas tree and decorations. The view from the apartment is unbeatable. Literally from your bed you wake up and all you can see is ocean (if you're blessed with sunny skies!) There's a delicious pub just a short walk away and more restaurants a short drive away in the little town. I would without a doubt recommend this place as I'm hoping to return one day as well!

We could not ask for anything more for our seaside weekend break! Comfortable accommodation, immaculate decor and cleanliness, fully stocked kitchen and gift basket, fabulous sea views and close to a lovely pub. We loved our stay at Jenny's place and would highly recommend it to others.

In a word, exceptional. The location is fabulous, the decoration lovely, the eye for detail in terms of anticipating guests' needs is second to none. We loved the great wide views of the sea from the bedroom and the patio and were even able to breakfast outdoors. Jenny was great in helping us with the pre-visit arrangements and Tim kindly picked us up at the station, even driving us around the area, explaining local history, and pointing out good walks. Their warmth and hospitality were very much appreciated.

We could not recommend a stay at Calais View more. The location is beautiful, the accommodation is excellent and the hosts go out of their way to ensure you feel welcome.

Excellent accommodation in a wonderful location. We had a great couple of nights staying at Seascape and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area. Seascape has all you could need for a family break, is really well presented and I can't recommend it highly enough.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Seascape. The lodge had plenty of childrens toy to keep my 8 month old entertained. It was very clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen-literally everything you will need! We were also very surprised how cheap electricity is to run the lodge, as I had come with plenty of coins just incase we were running out. We also appreciated the travel cot and high chair provided. Angela was easy to contact and answered all my questions promptly. The park itself has a warm large pool, which was great for my baby to swim in. We would happily recommend to friends. We were very confortable and had all we needed, it is a small house but every space is designed to be confortable. The area is gorgeous. We will repeat.

We had a little difficulty finding the place, because we arrived so late, but Angela was fantastic at giving us directions. There was plenty of space for the children to run around outside and they enjoyed spotting the wildlife. The accommodation was well set up and the children loved having their own rooms.

This was my 4th experience using Air BNB. The reviews I had read about Seascape were 5 star! I wasn't disappointed. The entire house was cosy, beautifully clean, decorated to a high standard. It literally had everything we needed, including a beautiful 'goody box' on arrival which we were all delighted with. Angela's communication was first class. I can't recommend this place highly enough. I stayed here with my mother and two young children and it is perfect in every way! The location is stunning with pubs, restaurants etc on your doorstep. The onsite bar was very good if you wanted to eat out and the entertainment a hit with the kids. I will most definately go back to Angela's beautiful and cosy home. What a find! We are very thankful to Angela and her brilliant home.

At Vanessa's you have your own little annex with private bath and kitchenette. Vanessa left us some fruit and milk with which to start our vacation, much appreciated. The annex was bright and clean, and bed was comfortable. She is a very busy lady but we did get to sit and chat for a bit, friendly and gracious. There isn't a breakfast per say but it was nice to just pick up a few things near by. It is nicely located. Thanks so much for the information about the area. We hope to visit again some day.

We had a wonderful stay at the Annexe. It was clean, spacious and comfy. Vanessa was so nice, she made us feel very welcome and had great suggestions for eating out. The Sea View in Deal is a real treat :). If you are visiting Kent, this is the place to stay.

Everything about Caroline's garden flat was exactly as per the description. Caroline and Sam were extremely accomodating. They shared this knowledge on where best to eat and what to do in the area. Caroline also treated us to eggs, bread, milk and and other essentials. The flat was warm, the beds were comfortable and the area was quiet and safe. Would definitely recommend Caroline's garden flat to all friends that use Air B&B

Excellent place to a stay! Caroline and her husband were lovely and made us feel extremely comfortable. The apartment is large and has everything you could possibly need and more. The location is a 10 minute walk along the seafront to Deal (visit Victual&Co) but there are pubs/restaurants (the lighthouse is great and has excellent live music) on your door step. If you are planning a few days away I wouldn't hesitate to book here.

What can I say? Caroline was fantastically welcoming on our arrival. The flat was fantastic. The location also fantastic. So in short all was fantastic. Will definitely look at having a longer stay in the near future.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Caroline's for two nights and on our way back we were already fantasising about staying there again. This is a sort of place you want to keep a secret so that you can return there any time you want without having to worry about it being booked. Tastefully decorated and cosy, very well equipped with absolutely everything, the flat made you feel it’s there just for you. We kept discovering little details such as toiletries, chilled water in the fridge, grocery supplies, flowers, a typed out manual with all the information you could possible need/want during your stay and other things that make the experience of staying somewhere so much more special. It is one min walk from the beach and a 10-15 min stroll from the town centre - you don’t even need a car. Caroline was a delight to make arrangement with. Helpful and quick to reply, she went out of her way to look after us. She was always available to answer questions, extremely friendly and caring. She is someone who puts her heart in to this business, and it shows in big and small things alike. Her husband happened to be around when we were leaving and he gave us a lift to the station. So kind! We were touched and very grateful. Wonderful, kind people, who love looking after their home and those who visit it. I can’t recommend their place highly enough!! This flat has all the facilities you might want (except perhaps a lift to the top floor, but you do only need to walk up from 2nd to 3rd floor) and the owners have clearly thought through what a visitor needs. No problem with safe parking either. The view of the sea is absolutely magnificent and the flat is located only a few minutes walk from shops and restaurants. We stayed 3 nights, and could easily have occupied ourselves for a week.

What a great apartment overlooking the marvellous Deal beach you will loose a few hours watching the world go past This had a great big TV a nice double bed which was a little hard for our preferences but some people will like it . However this in no way ruined our wonderful stay in this amazing apartment

This apartment has the most stunning views and is only a 5 minute walk along the promenade to restaurants and shops. Location offers many great walks and cycle paths.. or you can look at them from the window with a cuppa :) Well equipped, clean and thoroughly recommended.

This was a fantastic place to stay! It's a great flat with amazing views to stare out at the whole day long. All of the stuff seems very new in the flat, and it's so close to Canterbury and Dover. Deal is an adorable town. We would totally come back!

A very nice appartment with a retro style. We, a family with three young children felt very welcome. The appartment was very complete with towels and everything we needed. Location is good, the beach and shops are nearby. We also went to Canterbury, a short drive from Deal.

Lovely appartment and location, busy road and no near parking was a small problem but we ended up parking opposite which was fine.

Anna's house is beautiful, full of details and very big (not sure the photos do justice). The location is perfect, is across the train station, 5 min walk from supermarkets and the main high street .. as well as the beach! The seafront of Deal is beautiful, and is totally worth to do the walk to the castle. The communication with Anna was very good - she replied immediately and was on the phone when we needed her. Very recommended!

Anna was super helpful to make sure everything was in place before we arrived. The house is full of character and our little girls loved it. Unpacking by the busy road was tricky but otherwise we had a lovely couple of days.

We stayed at Anna's flat for 3 nights. It is a cosy, welcoming, quirky place. Our party included 5 adults and 1 child. There is enough space for 6 people, the beds were comfortable, there is a cloak room on the upper floor and a family bathroom on the lower level. We really enjoyed our stay here, the living room has a dining table for 6 people to eat at and 2 sofas to relax on, the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The flat is very close to the station and about a 10min walk from the beach. More importantly my parents were very happy with the flat and we would stay here again. Communicating with Anna was easy, we were met by her neighbour who welcomed us upon our arrival. We did not require her help really except for when my dad locked himself out early in the morning when everybody else was asleep and she kindly let him back in. Thank you Jane.
